PP spunbond nonwoven fabrics are environmentally friendly and biodegradable. This fabric is ideal for making operating gowns, isolation gowns, surgical masks, sanitary napkins, and more.PP nonwoven fabrics are breathable and water-repellent. They can also reduce the weight of automotive components to increase fuel efficiency. It is also a good choice for home textiles.
1. Extrusion
PP meltblown nonwoven fabric machines make the primary material that goes into medical masks and other forms of personal protection equipment used by healthcare professionals. These fabrics help shield them from airborne and aerosolized pathogens in hospital settings, as well as other environments that pose a risk for infectious agents. The specialized face mask production machinery relies on the melt-blown extrusion process to create the layer of breathable, non-woven polypropylene that is critical for medical and surgical masks to perform their function. The material’s density and fine fiber size allows it to effectively filter out bacteria, viruses and other pathogens from the air, protecting those who wear them. The extrusion system consists of a main and auxiliary tank, chip inlet, a screen changer, metering pump, single or composite die, a distribution plate and spinnerets. It also features an alarm system with temperature meter, solid relay and Pt100 platinum resistance. The finished product is then wound onto a winder.
2. Spunbond
A type of nonwoven fabric made from a combination of two or more distinct materials that are bonded together. It is a common material used in face masks and hygiene products. It is often created using different biodegradable fibre types.Using a spinneret, polymer chips are spun into fibres in a heated chamber, which can be done wet or dry. Once the fibres are formed, they’re then deposited onto a calendar roll. Heated rolls in the calendar make the fibres stick to one another, forming a cohesive layer of the final nonwoven fabric.Finished PP spunbond fabric can be trimmed and cut to size by the machine. It can also be combined with a variety of other materials to produce more complicated fabrics. For example, a machine can combine three layers of fabric to create a multi-layer mask. It can also add folds and pleats to the fabric for improved mask fit and comfort. It can even stitch metal nose strips onto the fabric for extra support and strength.
3. Lamination
Non-woven fabrics are sheet or web structures bonded together by entangling fibers mechanically or thermally. They may also be consolidated chemically or by adding binder. These materials can offer functions such as liquid repellency, softness, stretch, resilience, flame retardancy and sterility. This PP Nonwoven Fabric Lamination Machine is designed to do stable coating on LDPE and PP film. It can make compound material by combining five different materials at one time. It can make high quality and competitive products with less labor cost.USEON provides a wide range of PP spunbond non-woven machinery. Our line of machines can produce a variety of sizes from 1.6 to 3.2 meter fabric width and different GSM for various fields of applications like packaging, medical and personal hygiene etc.PP nonwoven machine includes wetlaid, airlaid, carding and crosslapping processes. Staple fibers are first spun and cut to a few centimeters in length, then blended and "opened" in a wetlaid or airlaid process and spread into a uniform web.
4. Coating
Nonwovens are engineered fabrics that may be used once and thrown away or they can be very durable. They provide specific functions such as absorbency, liquid repellence, resilience, stretch and softness. These are combined to make materials that meet a range of requirements for apparel, geotextiles, healthcare, manufacturing and construction.Spunbond fabrics can be bonded either resin or thermally. Resin-bonded nonwovens are stronger, but have lower water-repellency than melt-blown fabric. The latter have extremely fine fiber diameters and are bonded by spraying the melted binder onto the fabric as it is spun. This PP Non Woven Spunbond Line is PLC based 9 no AC VFD driven machine with tower like knock down type structure made of heavy duty I and C and H sections. It has air conditioned Process control panel with single touch screen mounted near winder. The line capacity varies with the GSM of the product. It can coat PP/LDPE/HDPE film on PP woven or BOPP/kraft paper or on non-woven fabric to produce coated or laminated woven bag like cement, rice, flour bag etc.
